Awesome People

Awesome People is a youth organisation based in Sweden that make people be and feel awesome – one learning experience at a time!

We work mainly with non-formal education and international youth mobility through the Erasmus+ Programme and through local projects. Awesome People holds an Erasmus+ accreditation in the youth field, which allows us to run a continuous programme of international activities. On average, we organise around 10 Erasmus+ projects every year, including youth exchanges, training courses and capacity-building activities.

What makes our work special is that we believe young people learn best by doing, creating and leading. Many of our projects are therefore youth-led. Participants are encouraged to take responsibility, design activities and turn their ideas into real projects.

We have also developed innovative learning methods, such as Portable Educational Escape Rooms, which combine storytelling, teamwork and problem solving to make learning engaging and memorable. These methods are used in international projects, schools and youth activities and help participants reflect on complex topics through experience-based learning.

For young people, joining our projects means:
