What Is Erasmus+?
Maybe you’ve heard of Erasmus+ in passing – at school, from a friend, or online – but never really looked into it. Well, now’s the perfect time to find out why so many people call it the adventure of a lifetime!
Whether you’re 13 or 30, a student, a youth worker, employed or still figuring things out – Erasmus+ has a way of opening doors you didn’t even know were there.

Erasmus For Young People (Ages 13-30):
Erasmus+ is your passport to travel, grow, and explore.
It’s the EU’s flagship programme for education, training, youth and sport, and yes, that includes you. You can:
- Join fully funded youth mobilities across Europe
- Attend international training courses and leadership programmes
- Write your own project and apply with your team
- Meet people from different cultures, share ideas, and build confidence
Cost? Covered. Experience? Life-changing.
Whether you’ve never left Malta or already love to travel, Erasmus+ is about learning by doing, growing with others, and stepping outside your comfort zone.
Erasmus For Youth Workers & Educators (Ages 18+):
Erasmus+ is a platform to empower the next generation and yourself.
You can:
- Host or join mobility projects for youth workers
- Send young people abroad on guided experiences
- Collaborate with organisations across Europe and beyond
- Get funding for non-formal education programmes
It’s also a great way to upskill, network, and bring fresh methods back to your youth centre or classroom.
Erasmus For Organisations working with Youth:
Erasmus+ is how you scale impact, collaborate internationally, and tap into EU-level opportunities.
If you’re an NGO, voluntary organisation, school, social enterprise, or informal group, you are eligible to:
- Partner in international projects
- Receive funding for local and cross-border activities
- Build long-term strategic collaborations
- Develop tools, content, and platforms that support youth
