Leading Together is an international training course taking place from 4-11 July 2026 in Racconigi, Italy, hosted by an Italian non-profit organisation with over 20 years of experience in youth work, inclusion and European projects.
This project explores inclusive, shared and horizontal leadership in youth work. Instead of top-down models, participants will dive into leadership as a collective process, one that values diversity, empowers young people, and actively involves those with fewer opportunities.
What the project is about
Through non-formal education, experiential learning and peer exchange, participants will:
- Explore practical tools for inclusive leadership
- Learn how to manage diverse groups and create safer, more participatory spaces
- Strengthen their ability to engage young people from different backgrounds
- Co-create methods and practices that can be transferred to their own organisations and communities
A key element of the project is the dialogue between youth work and the profit sector. Participants will meet and exchange with private companies that have developed concrete, authentic approaches to inclusion, diversity and organisational well-being, bringing fresh perspectives into youth work practice.
Learning happens collectively. This is not a passive training: participants are expected to contribute, share experiences, test ideas and build a community of practice that continues beyond the project.
Who we are looking for
We are selecting 5 participants, who:
- Have experience in youth work, education, social work, community work, or related fields
- Are interested in inclusive leadership, participation, diversity and community building
- Are ready to engage fully in a residential, international learning process
This project is especially relevant for youth workers, trainers, facilitators, educators and community leaders who want to level up their leadership approach and challenge traditional power structures.
