Be Brave Youth Exchange Sweden

Are you 16-19 years old, curious about the world, and ready to do something meaningful this winter?
From 21 to 28 January 2026, Projekta Malta is looking for 7 young people to join the Be Brave Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Sweden, hosted by our amazing partners Awesome People.
It’s your chance to learn, connect, challenge yourself, and create something that inspires others.

What’s it all about?

Be Brave is about stepping outside your comfort zone, learning to be courageous in everyday situations, speaking up for what matters, and believing in yourself.
During this week in Sweden, you’ll join young people from Malta, Spain, and Sweden to:

  • Experience teamwork and community in an international group
  • Build confidence in public speaking, creative expression, and standing up against hate
  • Learn practical ways to be brave in new or difficult situations
  • Design and deliver your own “Be Brave” workshop for others
  • Take part in outdoor adventures, cultural nights, and community experiences in beautiful Kopparberg

By the end of the project, you’ll return home with new skills, new friends, and a bigger comfort zone, ready to share what you’ve learned with others in your community.

Criteria to join

We want more young people to know about Erasmus+ opportunities, that’s why we created the Erasmus.mt website. It’s a space where young people in Malta can discover exchanges, trainings, and organisations, and also share their own stories.
If you join Be Brave, you’ll also help bring Erasmus.mt to life. But don’t worry, it’s not difficult, and you don’t need any experience with Erasmus+ or content creation.

Think about what you would like to see on a youth-friendly Erasmus website: photos, short videos, tips, reflections, project ideas, everything counts!
You can contribute in your own way, by sharing ideas for new content or helping to create it. The more creative energy we have, the stronger the project becomes!
Before travelling, we’ll host a Creative Meet-Up in Malta where we’ll brainstorm together and plan simple ways to capture and share your experience – before, during, and after the exchange.
So… are you brave enough to try? Instagram: @Erasmus.mt
